Christmas lights in Sønderborg
Experience one of the highlights of Christmas when the lights in the big Christmas tree are switched on in Sønderborg on the island of Als
The Christmas hygge begins from 3 p.m. with sale of hot chocolate & Danish mulled wine as well as Christmas carols.
The Sønderborg Garden marches down the pedestrian street, followed by a horse-drawn carriage with the mayor and Father Christmas, a speech is given and the children help with the countdown to the first lighting of the lights on the large Christmas tree and the beautiful Christmas lights in the streets.
Afterwards, Christmas treats are handed out to all children.
